Sweet Bean Art

I graduated top of my class in 2004 from the Design & Illustration program at MacEwan University. I worked full time as a Graphic Designer for 10 years before family commitments pulled me away from the 9-5 gig. Sweet Bean Art was born!

Getting back to my artistic roots opened up so many doors and fed my creative spirit. Soon I was painting, working with resin, making wood signs and so much more. In 2015, I was accepted as a resident artist in local artist guild, called Painted Door on Main, in Beaumont, Alberta

In 2020, Covid hit and Painted Door on Main was at real risk of closing. Myself and three of the other members decided to make the change to move from a non-profit to a corporation. We have worked extremely hard to transform the Painted Door to what it is today, showcasing the works of nearly 50 artists and artisans from the Edmonton region and beyond.

Throughout the years and the many hats I have worn, graphic design has remained a burning passion. My goal has always been to help people create a visual presence that will set them apart and get them noticed!
